Yummy Crypto Partners With Dreamfield for NIL Deal With FSU and Miami Players
The opportunity will showcase charitable endeavors and offer cash payouts to the athletes of the Florida State football and Miami Men’s basketball programs.
The Florida State program runs for a single month, with athletes making a social media post at least once per week about Yummy Crypto’s charity work.
Each football player who meets the requirements will receive a one-time cash payout of $500.
The program with Miami is structured differently, with one social media post per month required for a 12-month period, with a monthly payout of $500 per athlete.
That means each player on the Miami roster stands to earn a total of $6,000 for the campaign.
With this campaign, Yummy Crypto has created the first known NIL deal for a cryptocurrency business, and a charitable organization to boot.
Yummy Crypto’s director of partnerships, Corey Johnson, said that the company wants to be heavily involved with college sports. Their goal is to help out all of a team’s players, not just the stars.
This also showcases the idea that team-wide NIL deals are not only permissible but can gain significant buy-in from athletes.
